Many people suffer with chronic back pain and some never find relief. If you’ve seen your doctor and you’re still suffering, there are some home remedies you can try today that may help.
For me, I suffered with chronic back pain and found relief by applying some of the following:
Therapeutic Insoles – When my doctor first told me I should try therapeutic insoles, I was very skeptical. However, I saw they offered a money back guarantee so it couldn’t hurt. I was completely shocked that this helped my back pain. Needless to say I wear these every day now as i’m constantly on my feet. This has also provided foot pain relief as well.
Chiropractor – I know many people don’t believe in this but for me, seeing a chiropractor helped with my back pain. I found relief even after the first day I saw him. I was willing to try anything and this helped me.
Mattress – I’ve heard that switching to a newer, firmer mattress can help with chronic back pain. If you have a saggy, older mattress, this could be the main problem.
Weight – If you’re a woman and suffer from chronic upper back pain, having extra weight on top can be the single cause of back pain.
Yoga – I now practice yoga 3 times a week and love the way I feel. I believe this has also helped with my back pain.
Diet – Incidentally, while I was having chronic back pain, I was eating fast food all the time. I’ve now switched to a raw organic diet.
Vitamins – I read that taking Vitamin D is important for strong bones so I started taking this. I also started taking Vitamin B12 as this is important for the nervous system. I’m also now taking a multi-vitamin which has helped with my overall health and perhaps helped to relieve my back pain.
