Your breakfast nook furniture is furniture that you and your family will spend a lot of time in so it is important that you like it. There are many reasons to like a corner breakfast nook set and that is why it is a popular choice for many families.
Corner nook sets are made up of a rectangular table, an L shaped bench, and some other type of seating for the remaining two sides of the table. This type of breakfast nook set gets its name from the fact that the L shaped bench fits into a corner.
The first reason that you should love your corner breakfast nook set is that you will be able to seat more people at this type of kitchen furniture than if the set were arranged in the center of the nook. There are two reasons for that positive attribute. The first reason is because you eliminate the need to leave a large space between the table and the wall on two sides. The L shaped bench sits against the wall an the table is pulled up to it. The lack of cushion means that the table can be a little bigger and therefore accommodate more seating. In addition, bench seating is known to accommodate more bodies than chairs.

Those compartments are large enough to store small kitchen appliances or a large supply of kitchen linens. Another way that a corner breakfast nook set can give you storage is through a drawer that pulls out of the bench back. A high back that is a few inches deep can have a drawer that is large enough to store a spice rack or cookie sheets.
A third reason that you should love the corner breakfast nook set is that you can find one to match your kitchen and the rest of the furniture in your home no matter what your style is. Corner breakfast nook sets come in both country styles and modern ones. The key difference between the styles is the materials of construction. More traditional breakfast nook furniture is made of wood. The stain or type of wood will vary depending on how informal you want the furniture to be. If you need something more modern then you can find a leather breakfast nook or a table trimmed in chrome with a glass table top.
The last reason that I can share that will make you love the idea of a breakfast nook set that fits into the corner is the fact that a corner breakfast nook set will give you the opportunity to fit other pieces of kitchen furniture into the room. When all the table furniture is pushed into one corner, the other half of the room is empty and you can use that space for other furniture like a pantry cabinet, a sideboard, or a console table. Of course the other furniture cannot be too large unless you are willing to sacrifice some space around the table.
